4Works as advertizedMar 30, 2008
Mine works fine. I use it on a 2nd generation Nano. I have only had it cut out once while making a turn. It was like static for half a second. I think it's reliable enough, especially considering the price.
There are three buttons on it: Up arrow, Down arrow & Memory. When it is plugged in, or one of it's buttons is pressed, the FM screen comes up on the iPod. You tune it up or down with the arrow buttons, and store the frequency in one of 9 preset locations with the memory button. It's very easy to use.
I noticed that the iPod volume has no effect on the music volume on the stereo. With the iPod turned all the way down, there was no difference on the stereo, so turn you iPod down, your battery charge will last longer.
The package says it works with iPod Touch, classic & Nano. When I plugged it into my Touch, a screen came up saying "accessory connected". I couldn't see any way to tune it on the Touch. I programed it on the Nano, then connected it to the Touch, and it transmitted on the correct frequency. (The transmitter does keep the stations in memory when disconnected).
I would have given it 5 stars if it transmitted stronger. I can't expect much since it is powered by the iPod itself.

That's all I have to say about that.
