Great headsetJan 02, 2009 This is a great headset with a very good call quality, impressive. This is my second bluetooth headset and there are many things that are better in my new Jabra 8040. Really, it has everything you would want in a bluetooth headset; great call quality, people can hear you without any problems on the other end, its small, its light and it fits great. I especially love quick connection that it establishes with my cell phone. It was a pain with my older bluetooth headset.
Just like the other reviewer said, make sure to remove plastic film covering the speaker, I found two on my headset.
To those of you with Blackberry Pearl, if you expereince any problems, update Jabra 8040 firmware. My Jabra 8040 was unusable with Blackberry Pearl until i updated firmware. After the update, everything works great without any problems.
Good HeadsetDec 30, 2008 This can be considered a good blue tooth headset. It works well and the battery is pretty good also. It is not the most comfortable headset I have worn.. but with that said it is worth the money.
Value for moneyDec 28, 2008 This is my first headset. I did not compare much which i usually do when i buy a electronic product. So i may not be able to provide a good comparison. However the bottom line is it serves the purpose very well.
The sound is loud and clear. Although i can sometime hear a rattling sound in the background which i am not sure if it is my phone or signal reception. The operation is very simple. What makes it really neat is it is packaged well in a small size. I like small sizes because when i don't need the headset, i can easily slip into my pocket.
It fits my ear quite well. Initially i was not comfortable as i did not know how the ear gels that were provided fitted in your ear. However now i am pretty comfortable. There are different size ear gel in the box and found the right one for me. Initially it does feel that he is loosely hanging to your ear, but believe me it does hangs on quite nicely.
Working wise as i mentioned earlier pretty good. I switch off the headphone it disconnects and gets connected immediately when i switch on. I heard from my friends that this is not the case with other headsets as you have to setup the connection every time you switch it on.
In all i am happy with the product and it is a good value for money.
Terific DeviceDec 24, 2008 Great Buy! Very Happy! I wasn't sure if I would like using an ear piece, but it's great! Nice and light, let's me work while I talk. Must have for driving.

Great headset, but beware of what you getDec 20, 2008 So far, this product blows away the old Motorola headsets I had. It seems to stay on/in my ear much better due to the different design from the over-the-ear hooks.
Sound quality is pretty good for phone, decent on audio from my MacBook Pro. I was able to get it loud enough to slightly irritate me, which I like. I can turn the volume down from there to a reasonable level. It pairs with my iPhone, but doesn't play music since the iPhone lacks A2DP.
I say beware of what you get because it's a good price, but I didn't get the USB charging cable. I guess that's the price you don't pay. A USB car charger kit is available on Jabra's Web site for $20.
The earbuds also don't seem to differ in size at all. These seem to fit good, so I don't think it's an issue, but it's something to be on the lookout for. The manual was photocopied as others have said, but you can download one from the Jabra Web site.
